Tanya and Ignatius (or Naat to his friends), pay attention to the little things in life. That is, after all, what makes it special and unique. Take their wedding, for instance - one of the most elegant we've photographed and filled with beautiful, personal and sentimental rituals and details.
Tanya is a trained opera singer. We've never heard her live at the opera (although we tend to do so at our first opportunity), but she did grace us and her guests with a specially recorded version of Peter Gabriel's "Book of Love" , dedicated to her beloved and played as she walked down the isle - I was left speechless and teary-eyed and so were everyone around me.
This stylish bride also designs her very own jewellery line (Tanya Tait) - all once-off pieces. I am the proud owner of two of her necklaces.
Back to the wedding though. The venue - boutique hotel Illyria House in Pretoria - is a beautiful classic French/Italian inspired manor (reminded me a lot of the neo-classical mansions in Miami) and has hosted guests like Madiba.
Berine and her team at Weddings Galore (www.weddingsgalore.com) co-ordinated the entire event and we think they did an amazing job of creating a perfect evening for T&N. Great job!
Tanya has already entered for the Sarie Bridal Couple of the Year competition - they will be definitely be getting our vote!
