Thank You.. 2010

We are bidding "Adios" to a wonderful, whirlwind 2010, and as the last few hours fade away (as well as the smell of the bacalao - a Mexican Christmas dish I insists on preparing every year), we remember all the faces that helped make this year such a fabulous one. Grat...eful, humbled… there are no word to describe the sense of thankfulness that we feel towards to the many people that have contributed to the success of the past year. We would like to say a big thank you to Pace and Dror of Admired in Africa for offering us an invitation to be part of the Admired in Africa group of photographers. This project has boosted our business and status in an unbelievable way as well as given us the opportunity to send overflow business to other amazing photographers that are part of the site. Next on the list are the couples that have allowed us to capture their wedding days (the list is too long to name all of you, but you know who you are). Thank you for trusting our creativity and art. We were truly honored and touched by every single beautiful event. May you be together forever and always be reminded of how happy you were on your wedding day. Also, we would like to extend our gratitude to the couples who carted us along to their destination weddings (Bahati & John in Dar es Salaam, Desiree & Paul in Mauritius, Bernice and Steven in Cape Town and Janet & Tinashe in Harare). Then, to the wedding professionals that worked side-by-side with us, braving and resolving the sometimes behind-the-scenes horrors, disasters and breakdowns that guests never witness: Lorraine and team of Papilio, Aleit and his (whole) team, Chantal Fagri, So De Lovely cakes, Nick Nicolaou, Berine and team at Weddings Galore, the Chez Charlene team, Theresa of Del Cielo Rob and the guys of DVI, Andreas and assistants of Hauke Digital, Renate and the ladies at Prolab and all the other service providers that help to make a photographer's job that much easier. Thank you to Danielle (art director) of Wedding Inspirations magazine for having faith in us and letting us shoot the entire editorial and cover of the December issue. We are looking forward to future collaborations with all of you! Last, but not least, thank you to all the supporters, friends and family that we haven't named, the "true believers"! We read all of your comments and may not always respond, but they are very much appreciated. More than you'll know! To celebrate, we've chosen some of our favourite images from the past year, posted on our blog and facebook page. Wishing you a supercalifragilisticespiallidocious 2011!
