Melinda & Gerrie's Wedding, Tsekama

In the beautiful Northwest savannah hides a gem of a venue called Tsekama. We were received with open-armed friendliness by the "Boere tannie" who runs and owns the venue along with the rest of her family and there, in the middle of a lake that reflected a blue sky, Melinda and Gerrie were wed. This couple have known each other (or known of each other) since they were kids. They grew up in the same town and went to the same primary school. But it was only much later (and thanks to Facebook) that a romance sparked.

Later in the evening, with fairy lights blending in with the thousands of stars in the open night sky, the atmosphere turned festive. At one point, the bride was "kidnapped" but guests quickly paid the required ransom to get her back! No one, least of all Gerrie, could take their eyes of the gorgeous bride in her Demetrios wedding gown. Congratulations guys, you make an awesome couple!
