Nikki and Matt, who are originally from Botswana but now live in Australia, decided to get married on Matt's family's game farm close to Francistown.Their guests flew in from all over the world for the four day feast - the staff at the Cresta Marang Gardens hotel in town prepared braais (or barbeques to the Aussies) to rival that of any South African "boere oom" as well as breakfast buffets and a la carte menus that assured a few extra kilo's on everybody...
The wedding day arrived, and the ceremony was set up on the original spot (right in the middle of the bush) even with the threat of rain - but to everyone's delight the quick shower held out 'til the ceremony was over and freshened the veld for the couple photos.
The reception -a result of hours of hard work by Chantal Fagri and her wonderful team - was a splendid sight, overlooking the pool and gorgeous view of the sun setting over the African bush.
Another worthy mention is Colette Dinnigan (www.colettedinnigan.com.au) the Australian designer that made Nikki's amazingly refreshing wedding gown - loooooved it!
