The trip from Joburg to Potchefstroom wasn't as long as I thought it would be…well I have to admit that I haven't been there in about 10 years. And how it has grown!
Just outside of the town (or can it be a called a city now?) is a beautiful wedding venue and spa called Featherhill, right at the top of a hill (hence it's name), with a great view as the lights of faraway houses and buildings come on at twilight.
Annick and Leibrandt's guests made the most of the scenery (and braving the sudden cold), to light hear-shaped lanterns and letting them drift away in the night sky - what a romantic sight!

The next morning, we did some more shots at a nearby meadow (just before the couple left for their honeymoon) and they looked positively in love...
We enjoyed photographing every moment of this couple's special wedding day and just know that they will live happily after after.
